In northern Tasmania, the stark grey tiers of Ben Lomond are a visible landmark that can be seen as far away as fifty kilometres in Launceston. The peak rises to around 1200 metres with similarly impressive peaks as neighbours, all equally dramatic in appearance. Ben Lomond is a “must-see” in summer and a “must-ski” in the cold Tasmanian winter.
