Cable Beach is one of the most iconic beaches in this country. This 22-kilometre expanse of white sand fronts the Indian Ocean and the sunset photographs overlooking it are a staple of every visitor’s album. The soft grey wet sands, usually topped by a camel train of tourists, came to mind immediately we saw this contemporary colour.
