Anyone who has driven the Strzelecki Track in South Australia near the Queensland border, will tell you of the joy that comes from seeing the Welcome to Innamincka sign. After endless kilometres of featureless desert, the usual question on the journey is ‘where can I get a bloody beer’ and the answer is of course, Inna-bloody-mincka.
