Just south of Cooktown in Far North Queensland is Kalkajaka National Park (place of spear in aboriginal dialect) and at its centre is the powerful presence of the aptly named Black Mountain. This is a granite area, rich in colour and contrasts, and we have captured the drama and impact of Black Mountain in our deepest of greys, Kalkajaka.
