Our rich brown immediately evoked visions of the amazingly rich soil in the Lockyer Valley to the west of Brisbane. The Lockyer Valley is rated among the top ten most fertile farming areas in the world, and the intensively cultivated area grows the most diverse range of commercial fruit and vegetables in Australia. Unsurprisingly it is often referred to as “Australia’s Salad Bowl”.
