The tiny settlement of Melaleuca lies in a remote wilderness area in Tasmania’s rugged south-west. It is a World Heritage area with access only by sea or air and mainly visited by hikers and adventurers. It takes its name from one of Australia’s hardiest trees with its distinctive silvery-grey paper bark, our inspiration for our beautiful Melaleuca grey.
