In the centre of one of the oldest mountain ranges on earth sits Wilpena Pound: a dramatic bowl-shaped rock formation ringed by mountains including the highest peak in the region, St. Mary’s Peak. The rocky ranges there are a myriad of changing colours depending on the time of day and the season, delivering bold reds, browns and rich greys such as this.
